Testing is a thankless job. The tester's job is to tell a developer or a business analyst that "their baby is ugly" and it is difficult to stay friends after that.
If you try to be polite and ignore the ugly baby, it is just a matter of time until the customer faces you with the same conclusion or even worse when he states that ALL your babies are ugly.

Nope, only Repo Man is doing the thankless job:

Minor typo: Your text "tell a developer of a business analyst" should probably read "tell a developer or a business analyst". This is what happens when you write a great comic for software testing: you get a bunch of software testers to read it, and then we reflexively look for bugs. :)
ReplyDeletethanX a lot for the hint. I just corrected it.
